Professional Services Image by Gerd Altmann from PixabayLast week saw a reduced number of announcements as the holiday season drew closer. FinancialForce unveiled its winter 23 release for its Business as a Service platform. While there were no major products with this announcement, the update enhanced most of the solutions with the platform. Other updates came from Kantata and Procore.

Kantata

Kantata revealed that Deloitte Central Europe would deploy Kantata SX to support its professional services and workforce management processes across the business. With over 11,500 staff in 40 offices across 20 countries, this will be one of the largest deployments Kantata has ever done.

Seweryn Dabrowski, Chief Operating Officer of Deloitte Central Europe, commented, “We chose Kantata’s solution as with the level of flexibility and breadth of features it offers, we can optimize our talent pool and continue to deliver outstanding services to our clients.”

Michael Speranza, Kantata CEO, commented, “Deloitte’s selection of Kantata is a testament to the quality and depth of our solution. Kantata is focused on providing category-leading products that provide the clarity, control and confidence businesses need to make better decisions about how to run their business. Providing services to Deloitte, a Big Four firm, further validates our purpose-built approach to developing the technology our clients need to optimize their talent networks and consistently deliver outstanding outcomes is working.”

Kantata released several updates for Kantata OX. They include the general availability for new project permissions. These allow a nuanced set of permissions for users when they are added to a project. Administrators can set up roles, each with various permission sets. It allows organisations a wide mix of permissions but maintains efficiency.

Administrators can also remove unwanted permissions from projects, ensuring that only those needed are accessible for each project.

There is a new summary bar which shows totals for estimated information based on resource estimated hours, including house, costs, fees, and margin when estimating a project. Users with the edit financials permission set can start a project with a single button click.

A new API documentation page contains details of Kantata OXs KPIs.

Procore
