Oracle provided a strong set of results for Q2 fiscal 2023, but growth in the US seems meteoric compared to elsewhere. Fusion and NetSuite performed well, delivering substantial growth.

ITV Studios uses Zoho Creator, the Zoho low-code platform, to great effect.

Acquisitions

BTRS Holdings Inc (Billtrust) announced the completion of its acquisition by the EQT X fund (“EQT Private Equity”), part of EQT, a leading global investment organization. The transaction was announced on September 28, 2022, and received shareholder approval on December 13, 2022.

Appointments

Digital Workforce has appointed Juha Järvi (MSc (Econ)) as the Global Head of Healthcare. Juha will start in his new role on 1 January 2023.

Jedox named Dr Björn Schmidt its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Seismic announced the appointment of Johanna Flower to its board of directors. Johanna brings over 20 years of go-to-market expertise, category creation and leadership experience at technology companies.

SirionLabs announced the appointment of Frank Holland to its Board of Directors. Holland brings more than two decades of experience in leadership roles in the high-tech industry to Sirion.

Thoughtspot has appointed Rajesh Dhiman as Senior Director Global Systems Integrators, responsible for building and developing key global partnerships. Britny Holloway also joins to lead AWS Global Alliances from AWS. Holloway will oversee the ThoughtSpot AWS partnership as the two organizations expand to serve an increase in joint customer demand.

Tracxe Limited has joined the global Appian Education Partner Program. Based in the United Kingdom, Tracxe trains and enables young graduates from diverse educational backgrounds for employment as entry-level technology professionals to supply new talent and bridge the IT skill gap.

Datarails has announced an Integration with leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software Priority.

Digital Workforce Services Plc signed a partnership agreement with open-source RPA technology company Robocorp. Digital Workforce will incorporate Robocorp’s Gen2 RPA technology into its multi-technology service offering.

DocuWare, the leading document management and workflow automation solutions provider has received the NF552 certification for its Version 7 software solution. It was issued by the French auditors INFOCERT/AFNOR, accredited by COFRAC.

Salesforce announced it would bring over 250 commerce partner apps to AppExchange – the leading enterprise cloud marketplace – to help reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and drive customer success on Commerce Cloud. By the end of February 2023, Salesforce commerce partners such as Algolia, Akeneo, Adyen, Bambuser, Bazaarvoice, Bringg, Builder.io, Forter, InRiver, Ordergroove, Predict Spring, Threekit Visual Commerce, Uniform, Yottaa, and hundreds of others will be available on AppExchange.

ThoughtSpot, the Modern Analytics Cloud company, and dbt Labs, the pioneer in analytics engineering, announced a formal partnership to bring self-service analytics to the modern data stack. ThoughtSpot also announced that its Team and Pro editions are now listed on the AWS Marketplace.

UnitedLex, a leading data and professional services company for legal, has successfully automated its contract processes with a unified, end-to-end Conga solution that supports sales and revenue growth.

Domo has partnered with Minnesota-based non-profit organization MATTER to enhance the development and vision of the MATTER Innovation Hub (MIH) initiative. By partnering with Domo, MATTER will gain actionable insights into the initiative’s impact and its success with students.

Asia Healthcare Holdings (AHH), which provides operational expertise to drive growth across three major single-speciality hospital chains, has partnered with HROne to automate its HR Operations.

Jotform revealed how the Cincinnati Zoo used Jotform to help it name a newly born Hippopotamus.

Perenco, the UK-based gas production company, has selected MHR to streamline HR, reduce costs and increase productivity across its 1,300-strong UK workforce.

Casey’s General Stores, Inc., the third-largest convenience store retailer and the fifth-largest pizza chain in the United States, has experienced increased revenue and engagement with its customer base with the help of Salesforce technology. Salesforce has assisted Casey’s in sending over 1 billion marketing messages to their more than 5.5 million Rewards loyalty members this year.

Woolworths, a 90-year-old South African retailer with a presence in 10 other African countries, has signed a multi-year contract with Zycus to transform its source-to-contract process.

Financial Reports

Jotform published a review of 2022 with milestones such as 1 billion forms submitted, adding over 170 employees and adding Istanbul as its sixth office. It also launched Jotform Store Builder, Jotform Sign and Jotform Teams.

Laiye revealed global revenue growth for the last 12 months and plans for continued growth in ‘23/’24 in a business update. Last year, it added customers such as Amadeus, the Bank of China, Eurostar, the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, and the State Grid Corporation of China. Laiye also acquired Conversational AI startup Mindsay and IDP specialist Intelligence Qubic to build an integrated Work Execution Platform.

Serviceaide, Inc., a global provider of modern IT and enterprise service management solutions, published a business update around its growth and new product innovations. The company launched Asset Discovery Expert, Service Automation 2.0, and the Luma Virtual Agent Mobile App and grew its presence in Europe and Latin America.

The company added two offices in Singapore and Malaysia and now has over 900 employees.

Medius Procurement SuiteApp has achieved the ‘Built for NetSuite’ status. The new SuiteApp, built using the Oracle NetSuite SuiteCloud Platform, helps organizations eliminate maverick spending and extends existing procure-to-pay functionality in NetSuite to improve supplier relationships and buyer experiences.

Salesforce announced the general availability of the DevOps Center to help teams release technology solutions faster. DevOps Center makes it easier to collaboratively build, test, and deploy custom solutions across Salesforce — including automations, applications, and experiences — that connect to real-time customer data.

ScratchPad has introduced conditional highlighting to its platform to help organisations improve insights on Salesforce data.

Tier1 CRM announced its winter 2023 product release. It included updates to the Client Center, Deals, Events, Outlook integration and security.

Zefort has added contract bulk operations for binders. Removing selected contracts from a specific binder, or removing selected contracts from all but one binder is now possible.
