Copado launched a new marketplace with 42 DevOps solution listings.

With Salesforce World Tour New York occurring last week, Salesforce issued a flurry of announcements. One came from Slack; with the departure of CEO Stewart Butterfield fresh in mind, the integration between Slack and Salesforce continues with a deeper integration with Sales Cloud announced, though there was a lack of detail around this.

It also revealed that Genie Customer Data Cloud, the #1 CRM data cloud, is now powered by Tableau, helping businesses better understand and unlock customer data and deliver actionable insights in real-time and at scale.

It launched Automate ESG Reporting, a solution to help organizations meet growing stakeholder demand for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) transparency. Automate ESG Reporting enables companies to manage ESG data in real-time and easily generate framework-specific reports, streamlining the ESG reporting process to save time and costs.

Salesforce also announced how customers are leveraging its platform for greater effect. It revealed how Spotify Advertising selected several Salesforce products to automate operations, including Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Slack, and Tableau. Salesforce will also collaborate with Werner Enterprises to enhance the transportation and logistics company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) tracking and reporting capabilities. Werner will leverage Salesforce Net Zero Cloud to quickly track, analyze, and report reliable environmental data, accelerating progress toward its sustainability goals. It revealed how Salesforce helps L’Oréal create more personalization, relevance, and satisfaction with its customers amid an ever-evolving and complex consumer journey across 200 eCommerce sites.

Salesforce also announced $5 million in workforce development grants to seven organizations that widen opportunity and create pathways for people with non-traditional backgrounds to build successful careers in technology.

At the 2022 United Nations Biodiversity Conference (COP15) today in Montreal, Canada, Salesforce announced it is expanding three environmental initiatives to advance nature-based solutions. It revealed the first four recipients of its Accelerator for Nature: Global Forest Generation (GFG), GreenWave, Island Conservation, and Rainforest Connection. It revealed an additional $3 million in grants in nature-based funding. Salesforce also unveiled new policy priorities to promote inclusive climate policies and ensure that the world’s transition to net zero prioritizes equality.

Salesforce also published its quarterly equality update with initiatives worldwide.


Boomi, the intelligent connectivity and automation leader, has appointed Steve Lucas as chief executive officer. Lucas joins Boomi from iCIMS and brings more than 27 years of experience in enterprise software.

NTT has collaborated with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to drive the adoption of Amazon Connect. This omnichannel cloud contact centre can be set up in minutes and scaled to support millions of customers.

Demandbase has revealed how some of its customers, 1,300 including Deep Instinct, Folloze, Diebold Nixdorf, and Thales, saw remarkable success in 2022.

Thai clothing retailer, Supara Group, has accelerated eCommerce sales with faster response times to customer queries with the conversational messaging capabilities of Freshdesk Omnichannel and Freshchat from Freshworks.

Financial Reports

Domo announced Q3 2023 financial results. Total revenue was $79.0 million, an increase of 21% year over year. John Mellor, CEO of Domo, commented, “Domo helps companies of all sizes better leverage data so every employee can be a multiplier of business impact. I’m proud of the team for their continued focus on delivering customer value while operating the business with efficiency. Based on the size and health of the pipeline and the strong demand at the top of the funnel, we remain bullish on our long-term prospects.”

The company also revealed that Bruce Felt is transitioning out as the company’s chief financial officer.

UKG announced the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2022 results, ending September 30, 2022. Fourth-quarter revenue grew to $960 million, and full-year revenue increased to $3.656 billion. Subscription revenue grew 15% in fiscal 2022 compared with the prior year.

Chris Todd, CEO at UKG, commented, “We closed fiscal 2022 with unbelievably strong momentum. Dext announced that the first release of MTD ITSA for Dext Prepare is available to existing customers, and the product will be generally available in early 2023.

Drona HQ added new UI controls and a connector to Amazon Document DB and enabled AWS Auth for Postgres, MySQL, and MariaDB on AWS.

NTT TechnoCross Corporation (NTT-TX) announced that their AI contact centre solution ForeSight Voice Mining (ForeSight) is now available as an integration with Genesys AudioHook Monitor API.

Onit announced a set of feature upgrades to its CLM solution that enrich data analytics and more closely tie contract processes with key stakeholders across the enterprise — from procurement to sales.

Outfield has added several features to its sales performance management solution. They include a handicapping system to level the playing field where sales reps work part-time. It has also enabled a full-screen map feature on its mobile app.
