Another was in the UK, Johnson Matthey, which was previously talking about a major SAP ERP deployment, has selected Infor MES for its hydrogen fuel cell manufacturing facility in Swindon, UK. Other customer stories came from Acumatica, NetSuite, Rootstock, SAP, Unanet and Workday.

Acquisitions

Advantive announced the acquisitions of DataNet and PQ Systems, leaders in Statistical Process Control (SPC), manufacturing quality, and gage calibration software solutions.

Spherics, the Bristol-based carbon accounting platform, has successfully rebranded to Sage Earth. The acquisition was completed in October 2022, and today, less than two months later, Sage Earth is on offer for Sage customers looking to measure and improve their environmental footprint.

Appointments

Sage will change how it reports revenue and profits going forward. It will report performance across the following regions: North America, comprising the US, Sage Intacct and Canada; UKIA, comprising Northern Europe (UK & Ireland) and Africa & APAC; and Europe, comprising France, Central Europe and Iberia.

PwC and SAP SE announced a new co-innovation strategy to make sustainability an integral part of standard business operations. The strategy aims to create trusted solutions to address key environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) business challenges. It covers carbon measuring, reporting and steering, supply chain decarbonization, climate risk and competitive analysis.

Customer

Key Code Media officials shared that Acumatica’s innovative ERP solution has enhanced flexibility, improved connectivity and support business growth. By implementing a range of Acumatica’s cloud-based products, Key Code Media seamlessly transitioned to remote work and completed two major acquisitions, all in the face of a global pandemic.

Sterlitech selected NetSuite rather than Acumatica to power its manufacturing. Since deploying NetSuite ERP, it has achieved 50% faster order entry, 60% time savings for sales coordinators, and happier teams with high staff approval of the switch to ERP.

Rootstock revealed that Nanophase Technologies showcased how its ERP solution improved the order fulfilment cycle by 30%, established real-time operational metrics, and significantly reduced IT burden at the recent Salesforce Manufacturing summit.

As part of the Phoenix project, Pandora, the world’s largest jewellery brand, will leverage SAP S/4HANA Cloud as the company’s new ERP system.

Tevva is the first hydrogen-electric and battery-electric vehicle manufacturer to select SAP to update its IT and technology infrastructure to deliver sustainable transport and logistics across the UK.

PPT Solutions Inc. (PPT), a Huntsville, Ala.-based firm that provides solutions for Army aviation and Department of Homeland Security customers, chose Unanet GovCon ERP and CRM to help it mobilize for significant growth. PPT is quickly implementing Unanet’s solution and plans to roll it out to employees at the beginning of the new year.

Gallaudet University is now live on Workday Financial Management, Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), Workday Payroll, and Workday Talent Optimization, helping to advance the university’s digital transformation goals. Following the on-time deployment of these Workday solutions, Gallaudet University has selected and is now deploying Workday Adaptive Planning and Workday Student.

Doozy, the company behind CaftedERP, has launched the Sustainability Center: the first NetSuite application to track corporate sustainability efforts. When generally available in early 2023, it will enable companies of all types to measure the effects of their operational and sustainability measures, aggregate data for auditable reporting, and pinpoint areas for improvement or investment.

Intuit announced innovations designed to drive accountant and small business success at its ninth annual QuickBooks Connect conference in Las Vegas. They included QuickBooks Commerce Accounting, QuickBooks Workforce Solutions and new features for QuickBooks Online Accountant.

simPRO released simPRO mobile 10.2, which allows creating a quote while using a single quote job view. It also released simPRO 22.4.5 with various improvements, including support for Botswana Pula.
