Pick of the week

At ProjectCon 2022, Deltek unveiled Deltek Unionpoint, an iPaaS solution designed to make it easier for project-based businesses to automate project processes. Built on Workato, Deltek Unionpoint will enable users to quickly build, deploy and manage integrations to and from Deltek solutions. They can utilize the out-of-the-box connections or build their own through the intuitive interface and easily automate workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and increase collaboration.

Warren Linscott, chief product officer at Deltek, commented, “Deltek Unionpoint expands the connectivity options for project-based businesses and opens the door for Deltek customers to easily integrate to a vast range of applications. It is based on the foundation of integration capabilities that Deltek already offers – and gives customers the power to connect across our industry-specific products and between other point and best-of-breed solutions.”

Deltek also revealed that SAWTST, a small business government contracting firm, has selected Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Talent Management to power its growth by streamlining and automating processes and efficiencies while staying compliant with the federal government.

Debra Hadley, chief financial officer at SAWTST, said, “Being a CFO and part of a finance team at a government contractor requires special skills and understanding of the unique government requirements for finance and accounting.

“How we handle our project information – and our accounting, finances, and reporting – requires the right partnerships with those that know how the government thinks. We need software that makes it easy for us to be efficient and connects the entire company to our project data for a single source of the truth. And we have found that with Deltek. After demoing the software and doing our research, it’s clear that Deltek is miles ahead of the competition and the gold standard for government contractors.”
