Kantata has hired its first Chief Revenue Officer, with JD Miller joining the firm. His first task is sorting out a go-to-market strategy for the Kantata SX and Kantata OX solutions. Procore published another set of strong results in the week ahead of its annual conference.
Accelo
Accelo revealed how four consultancies are using its platform to improve efficiency, enable growth and see greater profits. Each is supported by a case study that dives into more detail.
In the UK, Fluidity, an MSP, has recovered 3 days every month by eliminating manual tasks. This has helped double its revenue in the first year of using Accelo with an increase in profitability. It first deployed the solution in 2018.
Daniel McNaught, the Founder, said in the Case Study, “The thing we want to achieve for our customers is fluidity — that organic agility to do what you do best. And Accelo really fits that for us. We love using it, and it feels like a natural product because it’s designed for people.”
Level Playing Field provides accessibility, risk management and pre-design construction consulting and more to designers, architects and property managers in the US and Canada. Darby Lee Young, the Founder, explains in the case study how she implemented Accelo when the company was founded rather than using spreadsheets. The company experienced 20x growth in a single year and handled three times more projects with the help of Accelo.
Tax consultancy Marcussen Consulting implemented Accelo in 2019. Managing Partner David Marcussen used Accelo to help focus the business on the top 50 most profitable clients, doubling profits and increasing productivity by 93%. In the case study David Marcussen, Managing Partner, said, “Accelo has enabled us to very clearly identify the types of clients and work that make money. As a result, it’s contributed to massive changes in the landscape of the business.”
Vector Business Solutions is a California-based team of accounting consultants specialising in QuickBooks and NetSuite. The case study explains how Accelo helped reduce overheads by 10% and reduce manual work by eight hours weekly.
monday.com
Monday.com has announced the opening of another office in the US. This time it announced a new 3,000 sq ft office in Miami. The office will also support Monday.com’s burgeoning business in Latin America. The office is the third recently opened by the company in the US, following that of New York and Chicago.

Procore
Procore announced its Q3 results ending September 30th 2022. The company increased revenues by 41% to $186. However, this included $8.5 million from Levelset. GAAP gross margin was 80%, and non-GAAP gross margin was 84%. GAAP operating margin was 39%, and the non-GAAP operating margin was 7%.
Tooey Courtemanche, Founder, President, and CEO of Procore, commented, “Our excellent third-quarter performance reflects the value that our investments in our platform continue to deliver to our customers. Procore is designed to solve real problems while driving better business outcomes for our customers.”
During the quarter, Procore added 683 net new logos bringing its total to 14,086 organic customers. It also opened a new Middle East and North Africa office in Dubai, UAE, following its launch in the region. Effective October 31, 2022, Dennis Lyandres resigned from his position as Procore’s Chief Revenue Officer and transitioned to a new position as Special Advisor to the CEO. It has yet to announce a new Chief Revenue Officer.
TaskRay
The October release of TaskRay is now available in the TaskRay Sandbox. Enterprise Times explained some of this release’s features in a September article. The new release, which includes template versioning, Checklist Queues and more, will be pushed to go live on November 12th. The features were explained in more detail in an earlier blog, and TaskRay is holding a webinar on December 7th to explain and answer questions about the new features in this release.
