The company has been without a CMO since Paul Stoddart left in February to join Salesforce as CMO, Customer & Partner Success at Salesforce. Victor will lead the company’s global marketing strategy, including corporate marketing, field marketing and tele-prospecting. Epicor has taken its time in the appointment and chosen someone with the right experience to help grow the company.

Who is Jenny Victor?

Victor has spent more than twenty-two years in marketing, starting her leadership career at IBM, where she spent seven years ending as a Product Marketing Manager for Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence. More recently, she was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Reciprocity, the strategic IT risk management vendor. She also served in senior roles at companies such as OpenText.  WageWorks, Aria Systems and Magnet Systems. She holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a BA in Economics from the University of California at Davis.

Her roles have spanned product and channel marketing and touched on other areas. She is an experienced marketing executive who brings a breadth of experience across a wide range of technology solutions, apt for Epicor with its own portfolio. She is also a recognised speaker and spoke at third-party risk management events n behalf of Reciprocity last year. As the world returns to physical events, will she host the Epicor Insights conference in 2023?

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Lisa Pope and Steve Murphy, CEO of Epicor, have taken their time to unearth the right candidate for Epicor. While this is her first position at CMO, on paper, Victor has all the experience necessary. She has led teams at a mix of technology companies. Tt will be interesting to see how she evolves Epicor marketing in the coming months and years.
