Ascent announced the acquisition of Tekaris, a German specialist in complex data-driven software projects.

beqom has acquired Our Tandem, a continuous performance management platform that drives people’s development through personalized feedback, coaching, and goal setting.

Infosys announced the completion of the acquisition of BASE life science, a leading technology and consulting firm in the life sciences industry in Europe. It follows the announcement the company made on July 13, 2022.

Smartsheet acquired brand management, templating and creative automation platform, Outfit. Its solution will deepen the company’s investment in its industry-leading digital asset management (DAM) offering, Brandfolder by Smartsheet.

Appointments

Cognite has appointed Jeff Flammer as President of Cognite Americas. He succeeds Dr Francois Laborie.

Fluence Technologies has appointed Christine Peart as Chief Financial Officer and David Wood as Chief Revenue Officer.

Business

Boomi expanded its global partner program enabling its ~800 partners to create and submit Partner Accelerators to the recently launched Boomi Discover Catalog. In addition, Boomi today also announced simplified training, shortening the time it takes for partners to leverage Boomi’s technology.

Corcentric will no longer merge and subsequently become a listed company. North Mountain Merger Corp (NASDAQ:NMMC) and Corcentric (“Corcentric”) announced on August 29th that they have mutually agreed to terminate their previously announced agreement and plan of merger (the “Merger Agreement”), effective immediately.

Infosys announced that it is a Microsoft Cloud for Retail Partner. Through this relationship, retail enterprises can rapidly redefine customer experiences, renew processes, and amplify systems with cloud and data.

Pyramid Analytics announced the launch of a UK Public Sector Practice. The new division will bring the transformational power of augmented analytics to public departments, agencies, and public bodies across the United Kingdom.

Qlik announced it had become the official Analytics Partner of Team Qhubeka Professional Cycling Team for the 2022 / 2023 race season. With Qlik, Team Qhubeka will expand its long-term strategy of using data and analytics to optimize the logistics, planning and performance of every aspect of its mission-driven cycling team.

Salesforce revealed that it had donated more than $32 million to charitable organisations during Q2 of fiscal 23. Recipients included Kura Labs, The Marcy Lab School, and the Urban Ed Academy. It also celebrated reaching 7.2 million service hours by employees and donated more pro-bono services and software to organisations during the quarter.

Syniti has partnered with TD SYNNEX, a global IT distributor and solutions aggregator formed by merging Tech Data and Synnex. This partnership will provide enterprises access to Syniti’s award-winning data management solutions.

intelliHR announced its full-year 2022 results and annual report. ARR was AU$7.7 million, up 97% year over year. ANZ made up 83% of its total revenue, and the company has AU$5.5 million in cash reserves.

Qualtrics announced continued strong customer adoption in Asia Pacific and Japan as organizations increasingly choose Qualtrics to help improve the experiences delivered to customers and employees. Customers include the Australian Tax Office, Venues NSW,  Tata Digital, airasia, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation and Hyundai Motors Asia Pacific.

Boomi Flow, the company’s low-code workflow automation service, has achieved Federal Risk Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorization.

insightsoftware has integrated its CXO EPM reporting solution and the suite of Longview solutions. The pairing of CXO’s purpose-built, web-based Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) reporting and Longview’s modular suite of integrated products for tax, transfer pricing, close, plan, and consolidation will allow organizations to deliver richer narrative behind their data with built-in commentary and dynamic dashboards.

Newgen Software announced the launch of its all-new integrated Robotic Process Automation (RPA) offering. With this best-in-breed RPA capability, Newgen has strengthened its low code process automation portfolio.

NTT launched Edge-as-a-Service, a managed edge compute platform that allows enterprises to deploy quickly, manage and monitor applications closer to the edge. NTT and VMware, in collaboration with Intel, are partnering to innovate on edge-focused solutions and services. The company uses VMware’s Edge Compute Stack to power its new Edge-as-a-Service offering. Additionally, VMware is adopting NTT’s Private 5G technologies as part of its edge solution. The companies will jointly market the offering through coordinated co-innovation, sales, and business development.

Salesforce unveiled Salesforce Winter ’23. Enterprise Times aims to expand on what it announced in an article this week. There are hundreds of updates across Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Net Zero Cloud and Service Cloud.

SirionLabs announced it had launched its AI-driven SirionOne software on Salesforce AppExchange. Out-of-the-box, SirionOne can now be synchronized with Salesforce for an enhanced lead-to-contract experience that helps sales professionals author stronger contracts and accelerate approvals.

Teradata announced VantageCloud Lake, Teradata’s first product built on an all-new, next-generation cloud-native architecture. VantageCloud Lake brings the proven power of Teradata Vantage, now called VantageCloud Enterprise, to a new offering born in the cloud. It is designed to be automatically elastic and leverage low-cost object stores at its core, but still powerful, easy to use and scale (or stop).

Teradata announced ClearScape Analytics, the significantly expanded and newly named analytics capabilities that span the entire Vantage product suite. With these new capabilities, Vantage customers can now take advantage of the most in-database analytic functions anywhere in the market and critical artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) model management tools (i.e., ModelOps) to meet the growing analytic demands of their organizations.
