SYSPRO saw significant changes in its leadership team. Firstly, Jaco Maritz was appointed as CEO. He took over from founder Phill Duff who stepped up to executive chairman. Icon Water is to replace its outsourced Oracle EBS solution with Unit4 ERP.
Appointments
SAP Supervisory Board has appointed Dominik Asam as CFO and member of the Executive Board of SAP SE. SAP has appointed Lloyd Adams as President of SAP North America. Adams, who joined SAP in 1998. Adams succeeded DJ Paoni, who held the position for five years. Paoni substantially grew the business, the customer roster and the sales team. In August 2022, after 26 years with SAP, Paoni decided to retire.
In addition to its CEO above, SYSPRO appointed Chris Lloyd as Chief Product Engineering Officer (CPEO). Lloyd will continue to accelerate product development within the role, focusing on delivering value to manufacturing and distribution customers.
Unit4 announced the appointment of Jean de Villiers as Chief Customer Officer. de Villiers will be responsible for Professional Services, Product Support, University4U/Community4U – the knowledge centres for employees, partners and customers – and Customer Success, all of which covers the entire end-to-end customer journey.
