ActiveCampaign revealed how it had helped many tax-focused businesses uplevel their customer engagement during the 2022 tax season. Through ActiveCampaign CXA, accounting and finance businesses sent an average of 45% more emails and increased their customer email engagement by an average of 53% compared to tax season 2021.

iCIMS, Vista Equity Partners (“Vista”), and TA Associates (“TA”) announced the close of TA’s investment in iCIMS. Vista and TA will partner to accelerate further the company’s global growth and product development expansion. Susquehanna Growth Equity, which first invested in iCIMS in 2012 and made an additional investment in 2015, will continue to be a shareholder.

Appian has appointed Christopher Jones to the position of Chief Revenue Officer.

Domo appointed Wendy Steinle as chief marketing officer (CMO).

Prismatic has appointed Anthony Owens as the company’s first chief revenue officer.

Eastern Arizona College (EAC) will adopt several Anthology solutions to create a more sustainable, modern user experience, including Anthology Student, Finance & Human Capital Management (HCM); Payroll; and Occupation Insight.

Billtrust and Johnstone Supply announced a strategic collaboration that will help their 90+ individual Johnstone Business Owners take control of the order-to-cash process.

Boomi announced its support in helping Australian Red Cross raise over $27 million for flood-affected communities by enabling real-time data access throughout the Australia Unites Telethon flood relief initiative.

Databricks has expanded its use of Freshworks’ ITSM and ESM platform Freshservice to help support the tripling of its IT workforce, which serves Databricks’ 4000+ employees.

Financial Reports

Domo announced Q2 fiscal 2023 results. Total revenue was $75.5 million, an increase of 20% year over year. Subscription revenue was $67.4 million, an increase of 23% year over year. John Mellor, CEO of Domo, said: “Domo is helping companies of all sizes leverage data across their organizations to increase revenue, improve efficiencies and drive better business outcomes — all at incredible speed. We continue to optimize for long-term, sustainable growth, as we deliver speed-to-value to line-of-business decision-makers and support our customers’ success.”

Funding

Celonis has secured $1 billion in funding. It is anchored by a $400 million equity Series D raise led by Qatar Investment Authority (QIA). It includes new blue-chip investors Activant Capital, a fund advised by Neuberger Berman, Alta Park Capital and Commonfund Capital at a post-money valuation of nearly $13 billion. In addition, Celonis expanded its revolving credit facility to obtain access to as much as $600 million with a syndicate of leading global banks.

Product

Alteryx released Alteryx Server-FIPS, a version of its Server offering that is aligned with the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) for data security and computer systems.

Introhive launched two new integrations with Deltek. The integrations will enable joint customers to combine the power of Introhive’s proprietary relationship scoring and Deltek Vantagepoint CRM and Deltek Vision CRM to provide a holistic view of customer relationship intelligence and business development/sales tools.
