FinancialForce unveiled its Summer 22 releases. It included updates to reporting and intelligent reconciliation for its ERP Cloud solution. Sage also acquired Lockstep to add AR and AP automation capabilities to their digital network. Otherwise, there were a few announcements below, most of which were customer stories.
Acquisitions
Francisco Partners (FP) has signed a definitive agreement with SAP America Inc., under which Francisco Partners will acquire SAP Litmos (Litmos) from SAP. The current Litmos leadership team will continue in similar roles in the new stand-alone company. It will serve existing customers, such as corporations, OEMs and technology partners.

Cloud Inventory has partnered with Boomi. The partnership empowers companies using any ERP platform to connect applications, data, people, and devices quickly. This optimises key processes, including accounting, order management, inventory, and procurement.

Acumatica, the world’s fastest-growing cloud ERP company, has provided SEACOM, the Pan-African telecommunications provider, with the tools necessary to realise its ambitious growth plans and deliver high-speed internet connectivity worldwide.
Infor Consulting Services (ICS) has successfully upgraded The City of Calgary to the latest release of Infor Public Sector (IPS) asset and work management software.
Mooneh, a third-party logistics storage and distribution provider operating on behalf of leading international pharmaceutical corporates, has deployed Infor WMS (warehouse management system). The solution will establish an efficient and effective warehouse operation. It is also set to deliver full traceability of all inventory. The project was successfully delivered by SNS, a leading supply chain consultancy and software implementation provider.
Olímpica, the third largest Colombian retail chain, is transforming its space and floor planning capabilities with Blue Yonder. The retailer has selected Blue Yonder’s category management, space & floor planning, and assorted management solutions to improve its display strategy and positively impact sales and margin. The project is currently being implemented by Softtek, a Blue Yonder partner and worldwide consulting IT company.
ToolsGroup has been selected by Entertainment Retail Enterprises (ERE), a leader in designing, manufacturing, and distributing customised retail products, including apparel, accessories, and home goods. ToolsGroup will help ERE increase supply chain agility, unify its planning data and processes, sharpen forecast accuracy, and reduce holding costs while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Product
Within Sage Accounting, it is now possible to delete reconciled bank transactions. Once deleted, Sage Accounting will:
- Display a message to notify that the transaction is reconciled.
- Show that the transaction is deleted when a user views the completed bank reconciliation.
- Update the starting balance of the next bank reconciliation to reflect the deleted transaction.
