Last week monday.com unveiled a set of strong results, for Q2 2022. While the company is still making a loss, revenues grew by 75% to $123.7 million. Other news from PSA, PPM and Work Management included an announcement by Smartsheet about its annual conference and product updates from Kantata OX and Avaza.
Avaza
Avaza has released email-based budget alerts to the platform. It ensures that project managers and project members are alerted if project budgets are exceeded. Users can define at what point the alerts are sent based on the percentage of the budget exceeded. The alerts are sent when the actuals exceed the budget. There is only a single setting, however. It might have been useful to have two or possibly three alerts configured.
However, users can configure the alert by individual project, and there are some other settings where billable or cost rate can be used, and the expense amount can be included or not. If the budget is exceeded, the alert can be set so that it is sent on a frequency defined by the user.
The alert recipients are those who influence the actuals: project managers, administrators or those with a timesheet entry role on the project. Users can opt to switch off the alert.
Kantata
Kantata OX allows users to edit custom field columns within the New Task Tracker. The new feature enables users to:
- Obtain better visibility of custom fields for all your tasks.
- Quickly edit custom fields for all tasks.
- Add custom field columns to a saved view.
Smartsheet

To take advantage of this, individuals and teams need to quickly respond to change, create solutions that work, and scale those successes across their organizations.
“We’ve been hard at work developing better ways for people to work together on what matters most and look forward to showing our community how to maximize the value realized with Smartsheet this September.”
