Acquisitions

The Access Group has acquired DutySheet Ltd, trading as Assemble and DutySheet. DutySheet is a leading cloud-based volunteer management software provider to hundreds of charities and public sector organisations.

Visma has acquired Teamleader, a leading international SaaS scale-up offering work management software for small and medium enterprises from investors Fortino Capital, Keen Venture Partners and PMV. Teamleader is founded in Belgium and is active in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.

Appointments

Rambase has expanded its team in the UK with recent hires that include Tony Flannagan as Business Development Manager, Nick Jackson and Tim Cowley as Sales Managers. Bal Galsinh has joined as a pre-sales consultant. The company also has four UK partners: Maximum Solution Consulting,  Arribatec, Smooth ERP and Vigent Consulting Ltd.

Visma has appointed Kasper Lyhr in the newly established position as Segment Director for its Public segment in the Nordic countries.

Business

Infor celebrated the growth of its hospitality business unit without mentioning any growth figures or revenues. However, it revealed the updates to three of its solutions relevant to the industry over the last year. These are Infor Hospitality, Infor Sales and Catering, and Infor Kiosk.

MYOB announced its eighth MYOB Digital Challenge. It is open to tech-savvy university students across Australia and New Zealand. Teams of 2-4 students develop prototypes of an idea, and registrations are open until 6th July.

Tony’s Chocolonely, an international, B Corp certified impact company based in the Netherlands, is implementing Aptean Food & Beverage ERP at a production facility it acquired last year in Belgium.

Sealord, a large New Zealand seafood group, signed a seven-year SaaS deal with Infor. The company will deploy Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage (F&B) and Infor Supply Chain Planning (SCP).

Starboard Hotels, one of the UK’s leading independent hotel operators, owners, and developers of franchised and own-brand hotels, has successfully extended its use of Infor EzRMS, incorporating in-depth competitor information analysis to help deliver an intelligent, responsive revenue management system across nine hotels in the group.
