At its annual user conference, Alteryx announced updated and new features to its product portfolio. They include usability improvements to Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Intelligence Suite, Alteryx Auto Insights and Alteryx Machine Learning.

It also opened up early access to its Metric Store capability. Using the Metric store, organisations can define KPIs that others can access to use to help the organisation rapidly, consistently, and accurately derive insights.

Alteryx  also added two governance capabilities:

  • Designer Cloud is powered by Trifacta, which brings together Alteryx Designer’s ease of use with the Trifacta cloud-native multi-tenant architecture, and adds SSH tunnelling capabilities to enhance security in the cloud.
  • Alteryx now also officially supports persistent and non-persistent Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) deployments, enabling enterprises to manage Alteryx in large-scale virtualized environments easily.

Class Technologies Inc, a synchronous virtual classroom space leader, signed a definitive agreement for Class to acquire Anthology’s Blackboard Collaborate virtual classroom tool.

Experian agreed to acquire MOVA Sociedade de Empréstimo entre Pessoas S.A. (‘MOVA’), a leading fintech in Brazil that helps equip any company, including non-banks, with the expertise and technology to perform data-driven credit assessments of their SME end-clients.

ManageEngine, the enterprise IT Management division of Zoho, announced that it would grow its Indian workforce by 1,000 in 2022. It also revealed 63.2% growth in 2021.

Financial Reports

Experian published its full-year results for the year ending March 31st 2022. Brian Cassin, Chief Executive Officer, commented: “We had a very good year with total revenue ($6.267bn) growth of 17% at both actual and constant exchange rates, and organic revenue growth of 12%.

“Benchmark earnings per share also progressed strongly, up 21%. Cash performance was very strong, with Benchmark EBIT to operating cash flow conversion of 109% and actual exchange rates growth of 22%. We have made major steps forward in Consumer Services, which is transforming the shape of our business, and we also progressed materially a series of strategic initiatives in Business-to-Business.”

Jenzabar gave a Q1 business update, noting the 12 institutions that selected its solutions in Q1 and the acquisition of Spark451. It mentioned no specific numbers or percentages, though.

Xactly delivered a business update without much evidence, saying it saw a “rapid increase” in the adoption of its intelligent revenue platform.

Cezanne HR has added support for webhooks and the option to send scheduled reports via SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) to its HR System.

Fenergo launched FinCrime Risk. The solution will allow financial institutions to centralise and automate risk assessment processes and streamline anti-money laundering (AML) compliance across business lines and locations.

Globant launched its Smart Payments Studio, which provides strategic business and technical consultancy to help organizations analyze and develop payment solutions.

Nitro launched eSign Premium to the Australia and North American markets. The solution, a high trust eSignature solution, came from acquiring the European vendor, Connective.

Pega announced Always-On Insights, a new offering combining the capabilities of Pega Customer Decision Hub™ with Celebrus Customer Data Platform (CDP).

Qualtrics announced Community Pulse, a new way for state and local governments to use technology to understand and respond to the experiences of their constituents.

At Nonprofit Summit last week, Salesforce and AWS announced Data Lake for Nonprofit Cloud, Powered by AWS. The solution, available this winter as an open-source offering on GitHub, will enable Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud customers to easily transform their data into actionable insights with visual analytics, ultimately helping to drive more informed decisions and better outcomes.
