Salesforce is to acquire Traction on Demand, a leading Canadian Salesforce consultancy with a presence in Australia, New Zealand, India and the U.S.

UKG announced the acquisition of SpotCues and its award-winning mobile communications platform, Groupe.io.

Appointments

Agiloft appointed Jim Leason as Managing Director for EMEA.

Ceridian has appointed Chris Armstrong to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Steve Holdridge is to become Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer.

Contract Logix has appointed Karen Meyer as CEO. Meyer joins from Upland Software.

Laiye, Asia’s leading Intelligent Automation (IA) provider, announced significant hires across Europe due to its continued $50 million commitment to expand in Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Nexthink announced that the company smashed growth projections in 2021. ARR grew 42% globally and 66% in North America. It has a renewal rate of 98.4% and has 1,100 customers with 15 million endpoints.

Reconart had a successful 2021 with 8 billion transactions matched using its reconciliation platform. It released a task management module and the Reconart close edition that contains features to deliver a complete close management solution.

Upland Software announced Q4 and full-year results and the acquisition of BA Insight, a leading provider of enterprise search solutions for global organizations. Q4 revenue was $75.7 million, down 3% from $78.2 million in Q4 2020. Full-year revenue was $302.0 million, up 4% from 2020.

Workiva announced its Q4 and full-year results. Q4 revenue grew 28.7% YoY to $120.8 million. Full-year revenues increased 26.1% to $443.3 million.

Funding

Place, maker of the agile finance platform built for the entire company, raised $3.25m in additional capital, bringing its total invested capital to nearly $10m. Geekdom Fund led the round with participation from new investors, including 7BC Venture Capital and existing angel investors.
