While SAP is winning many net new customers Oracle celebrated a competitive win at Mayo Clinic for its ERP solutions.

At the Acumatica Summit, the company announced several new integrations and partnerships with Adobe, Autodesk, UiPath and Amazon, and product updates. Enterprise Times spoke to CEO Jon Roskill during the event.

At Inforum, Infor announced a new marketplace, as it looks to bring more structured support for expanding its ecosystem.

Accounting Seed saw a leadership change with founder Tony Zorc stepping down and three new appointments, including a new CEO.

On the second day of the Acumatica conference Ali Jani, chief product officer, Acumatica, unveiled its 2022 R1 release with a mix of updates. These included:

  • A new global financials module
  • Support for Payroll in Canada
  • A new connector to UiPATH RPA to enable Acumatica customers to eliminate repetitive manual processes.
  • A new Amazon connector enabling the Acumatica commerce module to integrate with Amazon, adding visibility of current inventory on the Amazon Store
  • Localization for Mexico and the UK
  • Enhancements using machine learning and artificial intelligence, notably for general ledger anomaly prediction

Visma acquired Danish company mySupply. mySupply is a leading consulting company that provide solutions for commerce and system integrations.

Appointments

IRIS Software appointed Paul Nagy as Chief Product Officer.

Rockwell Automation announced that Gina Ayala Claxton joined the company and is named president, Americas Region.

Business

IRIS Software launched IRIS Affinity. It is a new world-class channel partner program to engage, enable and empower growth-focused partners.

FedEx Corp and Microsoft Corp announced the next solution as part of their multi-year collaboration to transform commerce, supply chains and logistics. FedEx and Microsoft will bring together FedEx network intelligence with capabilities from Microsoft Dynamics 365 to introduce a cross-platform “logistics as a service” for retailers, merchants and brands.

In partnership with The BOSS Network, an online community of professional and entrepreneurial women, Sage launched the Sage Invest in Progress grant to support Black women entrepreneurs in their first five years of business. The grant will award $10,000 in funding to 25 Black women entrepreneurs to help them successfully grow their business.

Sage also invested £10 million to become a NewcastleGateshead Quays development naming partner. The state of the art Sage Arena and exhibition and conference centre (Sage ICC), will showcase the best of the region to a global audience.

Visma has ended its relationship with Ski Classics after seven years of sponsorship and will look to target a broader international audience.

Zendesk continues to urge its investors to approve the acquisition of Momentive. It has released an investor presentation detailing the significant value it believes it will bring to the company

Bally, the iconic Swiss luxury fashion house, is replacing its current Retail Point of Service (POS) systems with Oracle Retail Xstore across 18 countries.

Rimini Street revealed the benefits that Staffmark group has enjoyed since switching to Rimini Street for its Peoplesoft support.

Rootstock published a video showing how Fike complemented its Salesforce CRM solution with Rootstock ERP.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), one of the largest academic medical centres in the Southeast, has extended its nearly 15-year partnership with Infor. VUMC plans to migrate its current on-premises Infor solution for clinical staffing and scheduling to the latest cloud-hosted offering by Infor.

Valley View Casino & Hotel is extending its 17-year relationship with Infor. It will update Infor CloudSuite Hospitality and implement Infor Dynamic Enterprise Performance Management (Infor d/EPM).

Wilkus Architects is a leading architecture firm with projects throughout North America,. It has selected Unanet ERP AE to help it better manage invoicing, employee time, forecast staffing needs, and financial decisions.

Financial Reports

Rockwell Automation reported its Q1 fiscal 2022 results. Fiscal 2022 Q1 sales were $1,857 million, up 18.7% from $1,565 (Q1 2021). ARR increased over 50% due to the acquisition of Plex, organic ARR increased in double digits.

Microsoft published its Q2 earnings, revenue was $51.7 billion (up 20%), and operating income was $22.2 billion (up 24%). Dynamics 365 revenue grew by 45%.

Product

Intuit announced two new products:

  • QuickBooks Get Paid Upfront, eligible QuickBooks Online customers can eliminate the wait to be paid on outstanding invoices and put their earned money to work faster.
  • QuickBooks Early Pay will provide eligible employees paid through QuickBooks Online Payroll with the option of instant access to money between paydays.

Microsoft published 2022 release wave 1 plans for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.

Sage Accounting added two new features, automated journal entry creation and an improved error handling of bank statement imports.

SimPRO has improved its integration with Xero. It has enhanced license management of call centre licenses from the user log and several other improvements.

Xero has released a new version of the Budget Variance report. It has also updated its Reports screen for NZ users.
