Pinnacle Management Systems Inc is now a strategic solution partner to Deltek. Hitherto it was a systems integrator partner that has implemented Deltek solutions at companies such as Western Area Power Administration (Registration required), Unither Virology and Transcore. This latest step to a strategic solution partner recognises its ability to “offer Deltek customers first-class solutions that complement and enhance their Deltek investment” according to the Deltek website.
Founded in 1993, Pinnacle has strategic relationships with Microsoft, Oracle (for Primavera), Project (EVM) and now Deltek. It is also an Encore Analytics partner for their EVM analytics solution. The firm offers consultancy and implementation services for Enterprise Project Management (EPM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Integrated Program Management (IPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
Pinnacle has more than ten years worth of experience around Deltek solutions. The new partnership will help Deltek offer the support to build on that relationship. The press release does not explain exactly how this will manifest, however.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean
Getting new partnerships is important for any vendor. However, recognising success and the strengthening of existing partnerships is far more important. It demonstrates that Pinnacle, in this instance, has delivered value to Deltek and its customers. It also demonstrates that the relationship is strengthening which should lead to further opportunities and revenue for both companies. What is missing from the releases is what this new partnership will deliver. To benefit both the sales and marketing efforts of Pinnacle and also for existing customers and prospects.
