Recently listed on the OTCPK exchange through its merger with Sunset Capital Assets Inc, the company is preparing for further growth. It will scale its operations to meet the growing demand for its chemical-free, water-based sanitization and disinfecting products.

Headquartered in Rochester New York, with a manufacturing facility in Port Richey, Florida it also exports products to Europe as well as serving the North American market.

David J. Weaver, Aphex President and CEO, commented: “We are lucky to have seen immense growth during a historically difficult economy and have expanded our production capacity greatly to meet an increase in product demand.

“As we continue to scale up our operations, we will leverage NetSuite to meet critical requirements for auditing and to achieve real-time visibility into our business. By providing one platform to connect our operations, NetSuite will help us make fast and efficient decisions that will carry our business forward.”

Weaver is no stranger to ERP solutions. While working as a supply chain manager, he led several ERP project implementations, including SAP, and drove improvements within the business. The selection and implementation is an endorsement of NetSuite’s capability to support a manufacturing organisation targetting international expansion.

Weaver will expect to release multiple benefits from NetSuite across the organisation. Aphex look to streamline and automate invoicing, inventory, production, and customer service processes. The press release states that it expects NetSuite to help within the Sales and Marketing processes as well. The inference is that it is rolling out the NetSuite CRM and could look to expand its investment using SuiteCommerce. It currently embeds Woocommerce in its website. However, there is a connector between WooCommerce and NetSuite available.

Increasing demand and driving growth

That expansion is based on the estimated that the global market for sterilization equipment and disinfectants is set to grow at a CAGR of 8.4%. The Business Research Company estimates it will reach $10 billion in 2023. Pre COVID, GrandView Research saw the market growing by only 6.3%. Aphex has already experienced increased demand and expanded its manufacturing capability to cope.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

In 2019 the NetSuite marketing message was focused around growing your business. The emergence of COVID rightly evolved that to BuildON at its series of virtual ON AIR events. NetSuite has helped many companies not just survive but prepare themselves for growth as the pandemic wanes. For some customers, such as Aphex, the older messaging holds true, with increasing demands driving global growth.

Aphex will hope that NetSuite will support expansion fueled by its proprietary non-alcohol, non-toxic, and hydrogen-based cleaning technology. It is providing the right product at the right time. With no end to the pandemic currently in sight, demand should continue to be high. Purchasers will also become savvier about selecting higher quality products which could further increase demand.
