Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium Image by skeeze from Pixabay Dallas Cowboys have selected Adra from Trintech to simplify its financial close process. Adra was acquired by Trintech in 2017 and has invested heavily in the product since then. The solution delivers automated reconciliation, transaction matching and a centralized close process. This is a significant win for Trintech with Forbes recently reporting that the company had $950 million in revenue and an operating income of $420 million. According to Forbes it is the NFLs most valuable franchise for the 13th successive year.

Adra will probably be supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX, a solution that the Dallas Cowboys implemented in 2007. Though as a cloud-based solution Adra is able to integrate with several ERP solutions. Tom Walker, Chief Financial Officer of The Dallas Cowboys commented: “As we continue to rapidly scale our business, we knew we needed to implement a solution that would help give us greater control and visibility over our financial close process. We are very excited to be deploying Adra to automate our reconciliation and financial close processes so that we can refocus our time and effort on the strategic direction of our organization.

With Trintech also headquartered in Dallas this is a very pleasing win for the company. Darren Heffernan, President, Mid-Market at Trintech noted: “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Dallas Cowboys in their efforts to modernize their financial close process. By combining effective finance processes with Adra, they will see increased ROI, improved accuracy, and greater visibility across their entire financial close process.”

Dallas Cowboys will be expecting the Adra suite of three components to deliver increased efficiency.

The Dallas Cowboys will hope to see the same benefits that Adra delivered to Protector Insurance. Protector Insurance commented: “The time we have saved through the automation of our processes has resulted in us being able to focus on higher value-added activities. We are very satisfied with our partnership with Trintech.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Currently Adra has only two case studies on its website; Jewsons, a UK builders merchants and Protector Insurance, a Scandinavian insurance company. It will hope Dallas Cowboys becomes a customer advocate with a case study demonstrating the success of the solution. Trintech has numerous customers in the US already but this could be a significant boost for its Adra product in 2020.

Trintech claims that Adra can be installed in “just a few days”. It will be interesting to see how quickly the Dallas Cowboys can leverage the solution. Also, how quickly a follow up press release or case study is issued.
