Erickson Incorporated, a leading aerospace manufacturer and global provider of aviation services, has selected a Ramco solution to enhance its MRO operations. It chose the Aviation M&E MRO Solution V5.8 and will leverage the software across the globe. It will implement several modules from the solution including: EFB (electronic flight bag), Mobility, Optimization Solution, Hubs, Dashboards and Chatbot.
The mobility module was key to the win. It enables Erickson employees to operate across the globe in an offline mode when not connected to the internet. Another aspect of the Ramco software that Erickson wanted was the support for its organisational structure. Erickson now has three operating units: Commercial Aviation Services, Defence and National Security, and Manufacturing and MRP. It not only wanted the segregation between these units but visibility across the whole business. Ramco supports the multiple organisational units within its solution

Enterprise Times: What does this mean
It isn’t clear what Erickson used before they selected the latest Ramco offering. However, in recent years it has invested in new software technology to move the business forward. It deployed Realization Technologies project management software Concerto and increased on-time delivery from 33% to 83%. It will hope to see similar improvements from the deployment of the Ramco Aviation solution.
