Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS) has appointed Cary Anderson, Vice President and General Manager for KCS in North America. He replaces Alan Cross who left the company in April this year. Anderson was previously Vice President R&D (North America) at KCS and before that spent at least eight years at Epicor working in the Lumber and Building Materials (LBM)  division.

Anderson is recognised as a thought leader and most recently spoke to LBM journal in an interview, before his recent appointment. In making the appointment KCS has found someone with internal knowledge and relationships of KCS but a broad industry knowledge and relationships in North America. Anderson commented: “I have spent the last year getting to know KCS and our customers. I am excited to continue our rapid growth in North America as we continue to provide software solutions to best serve the industry’s needs. Our goal is to be nothing less than the best technology partner in North America.”

In the new role he will oversee the operational management of both Cary, NC and Houston, TX locations. Interestingly his priorities are stated as support, development, implementation, and customer satisfaction. There is no mention of sales and marketing.

Enterprise Times What does this mean.

KCS has picked an experience leader to drive forward its North American operation. His remit seems slightly limited with no direct responsibility for strategy in the region. That role will probably be shared with others in the KCS leadership team and it will be interesting to see how KCS evolves in the coming months.

  1. Alan Cross will be joining Diveplane as Chief Commercial Officer. Diveplane delivers an AI platform that is explainable and can work on a minimal data set. Its first project is an Understandable AI decision system. The appointment may mean that it is seeking early customers.
