Anthesis has announced that it has strengthened its ERP practice with the hire of industry veteran Peter Williamson as Operations Director. Williamson comes to the Infor and IFS channel partner having been VP of Professional Services, Infor, where he led the European Consulting team.
Early in his Infor career he also worked for Lawson, subsequently bought by Infor. With Anthesis launching its Infor M3 practise (formerly Lawson M3) this comes at an opportune moment. Williamson will bring a depth of knowledge from 20 years experience of deploying ERP solutions.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean
For Anthesis this a significant hire. While small the reseller has expansion plans with both its IFS and Infor practices. Whether Williamson is also able to leverage his network to bring consultants into the business isn’t yet clear. He will be able to help Anthesis grow. It has already hired Joe Walker, an M3 consultant who once worked for Williamson in the past. This is also good news for both Infor and IFS. Infor would prefer to see net new consultants join the ecosystem. It will be interesting to see whether Anthesis train up staff as well.
