Ramco has announced that it has won a new Payroll deal with a multinational construction, property & infrastructure group headquartered in Australia. The customers, whom it didn’t name, have 11,000 employees across three countries: Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. Ramco Payroll software will integrate with Workday, Oracle and Kronos as part of the implementation. It will replace five existing payroll systems
The customer concerned is almost certainly Lendlease Group, an Australian firm with around 11,000 employee and a large presence in the countries mentioned above. Lendlease selected Workday in 2017, despite having Oracle itself as a client. It also uses Oracle Aconex across the business. Sources indicate that Lendlease is using the software in its business already.
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
This is yet another win for Ramco in Australia. Why it didn’t name the customer is unclear. However if it is able to use that company as an advocate for its payroll software in Asia then it should win more business. The challenge will be extending that to share into its HCM and ERP solution. It is unlikely that Lendlease will move from its existing HCM (Workday) and ERP solutions. However, what is does demonstrate is that Ramco is carving out a niche in the market. If it can look to sign more partnerships on the payroll side it could open up more doors.
